Re ""Or maybe mess with blending options on the layer with the symbol..." I've thought of that. In fact I've been experimenting with layers & effects for a while now. The problem is that one technique for watermarking does not work on all pieces. I have to come up with a different method each time. Have also thought of a 'symbol' before--as a logo. (What business doesn't need a logo?) I tried coming up with one a while back but got distracted & am terrible at scheduling. Also, logo-making is a pain in the ass. Seriously. When I do come up with one, I'll trademark it & slap it on all my online work--hopefully without disturbing aesthetics too much.

Re Veil: Sure, keep commenting. I like it when people offer constructive criticism. If all I get is "wow your stuff is great!" bootlicking, I'll never grow as an artist. You're the second person to complain about my watermarks. I'm paranoid of image rippers & yes, that is my copyright. If there is an art to putting a watermark in an image, then please give me pointers. Only thing I can think of is putting one in the center & a smaller, near-invisible one somewhere off to one side...

Re Peace Ideogram: I'm having trouble with this one. If I let the sky come through too much, the character itself becomes invisible. If I bring that out too much, you can't see the sky/background. And this was supposed to be a quick job! Dunno what I should do with it. Maybe eliminate the sky & clouds?...
